It is not very easy to get a good texture sorbet, mousse, smoothie or a frozen nice, but the NINJA CREAMi is a wonder machine that works magic. It is really worth its $200 price. To use the NINJA CREAMi you need to freeze the ingredients and then blend the frozen mass adding a little liquid during the process to get the right creamy texture. The NINJA CREAMi is a powerful machine can handle medium hard pieces and blocks of ice Here are a few special recipes I tried out.

Raspberry Sorbet

I first froze the raspberries and ½ the lemon juice together overnight then combined it with the sugar and blende it in the NINJA CREAMi Adding the remaining lemon juice once the blend is granulated. After adding lemon juice blend for a few more minutes and look what I got.

In the end I emptied the sorbet into a dish and froze it for 2 hours in my freezer and got a perfect sorbet. Soft creamy and tangy sweet.

Oreo Choco Nice

The nice is a no diary ice cream created for Vegan food lovers but you don’t have to be a vegan to love this baby

  • 500g unsweetened chocolate
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 8 Oreo Choco crème cookies
  • 4 Medium size ripe bananas
  • 30 ml Almond or soybean milk

Cut the banana into pieces break the chocolate slab into pieces or you can use choco chips. Freeze the banana and the chocolate. Also separately freeze the Oreo cookies.  When everything is frozen solid blend it in the NINJA CREAMi. The recipe is a vegan so use almond/ soybean milk to blend to the right creamy doughy feel. Once the ice is blended add the cookies and give it a light blend making sure not to pulverize the cookies and leave them in small chunks in fact adding two cookies at a time gives a much better texture. Once the nice is properly blended freeze and enjoy. This vegan treat is a feast and tastes yummy.

The NO Egg, NO Gelatin Mango Mouse

  • 500g Diced Mango cubes
  • 80g granulated sugar
  • Mango juice 100 ml
  • 100g Sweetened Condensed milk
  • Heavy cream
  • 30ml or the juice of 1 medium lemon

Take 70 ml of the mango juice and combine with the lemon juice and add to the Mango cubes. Pour the condensed milk on top of everything and freeze. Once the mixture is frozen solid add sugar and blend it. Add the heavy cream add carefully add the remaining mango juice till you mousse is easily broken by a spoon but does not fall from it when turned sideways. Chill and garnish with mint leaves chopped nuts cream and serve in shot glasses or cups.

Conclusion

The NINJA CREAMi is a wonderful machine that can make creamy blends add a little recipe magic and you can do wonders. The machine maintains the perfect temperature to make sure the mixture does not become too liquid. The NINJA CREAMi is worth its expensive price and can make amazing desserts. It is a little noisy but worth the noisiness and makes the perfect creamy blend, other blenders are not even close
